Signum

Introduction

Signum is a mobile app developed to make the learning of French Sign Language (FSL) intuitive and fun.

But why French Sign Language ?

Nowadays there are a lot of apps and website to learn foreign languages. But when it comes to sign languages, especially the French one, there are not that many resources on the internet. That’s why we created an alternative which aims to be costless and intuitive.

Features

For this app we developed three main features. A dictionary, a game and finally a course system all filled with videos.

The dico

As there are no apps to translate from languages to sign languages, it was obvious to make a feature to help the user translate words.

The Course Vocab

This screen helps you to figure the vocabulary in the courses videos.

The Game

A little game for memory and relaxation. It’s an easy feature where you have four possibilities and one word in a video. Will you remember the word?

The Signing of words

Once you click on a specific word in the vocabulary list you can see the signing of a specific word from a course.

The Course

Here you have two videos with vocabulary about a specific theme. At first, you just see the words to get used to them.
